Turkey Stuffing

the best we've ever had.

  • 1 Loaf Bread
  • 1 Cup Chopped Onions
  • 1 Cup Chopped Celery
  • 1 + 1/2 Cups Divided Butter
  • 2 tsp Poultry Seasoning
  • 2 tsp Sage
  • 2 tsp Thyme
  • 1 tsp Celery Salt

Place bread into food processor in batches to make breadcrumbs (do not make them too fine). Place in large bowl & add spices.

Melt 1/2 cup butter in skillet & fry onions & celery until tender.

When veggies are cooked, add remaining 1 cup butter in pan to melt.

Pour over breadcrumbs & mix thoroughly. If mixture is too dry, you can pour some boiling water over it.

Add more herbs to taste.

Stuff turkey just before baking.
