Sugar Cookies

the best we've ever had.

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Butter
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 Tbs Milk

Preheat oven to 375.

Sift 1 1/2 cups flour with baking powder & salt. Cream butter until soft. Beat in sugar, egg, vanilla & milk. Stir in flour mix.

Add enough remaining flour to make dough stiff enough to roll out. Refrigerate until chilled.

Place on lightly floured surface & roll about 1/8″ thick & cut into desired shapes.

Place on ungreased baking sheet & sprinkle with sugar. Bake 8 – 10 mins.
