Sesame Chicken

the best we've ever had.

  • 1 + 1/2 lbs Diced Chicken Breasts
  • 1 + 1/4 Cups Chicken Broth
  • 3 Tbs Honey
  • 3 Tbs Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbs Vinegar
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tbs Sesame Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Sriracha Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger
  • 1 Tbs Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs Water
  • 1 Cup Cornstarch
  • 2 Lightly Beaten Eggs
  • 2 Cups Olive Oil
  • Sesame Seeds
  • Green Onion

Preheat oven to 325. Lightly spray baking dish.

Whisk together chicken broth, honey, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, garlic powder & ginger. Set aside.

Place chicken into bowl with eggs; toss & let egg drip off. Place in ziplock bag full of 1 cup cornstarch. Coat evenly.

Heat oil, add chicken in batches & fry until brown (1 -2 mins). Place on plate with paper towel.

Add chicken to baking dish. Whisk 1 Tbs cornstarch with 1 Tbs water; add to sauce & pour over chicken.

Cook uncovered for 40 – 45 mins.

Garnish.
