Rustic Apple Caramel Galette

the best we've ever had.

  • 2/3 Cup Flour
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 Cup Cubed Cold Butter
  • 5 tsp Cold Water
  • 1/8 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 Sliced Apples
  • 3 Tbs Sugar
  • 1 Tbs Flour
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • Caramel Ice Cream Topping

In large bowl, combine flour, sugar & salt; cut in butter until crumbly.

Gradually add water & vanilla; toss with fork until dough forms a ball.

Cover & refrigerate 30 mins.

Roll dough out on lightly floured surface to make a 10″ circle. Transfer to parchment lined baking sheet.

Combine filling ingredients & spoon over crust within 2″ of edges.

Fold up edges over filling, leaving center uncovered.

Combine sugar & cinnamon, & sprinkle over top. Brush crust with egg wash.

Bake at 400 for 30 min, or until crust is golden & filling is bubbly.

Drizzle with caramel topping; serve warm.
