Philly Cheesesteaks

the best we've ever had.

  • 2 Large Blade Steaks
  • 2 Cups Beef Broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • 1 Medium Sliced Onion
  • 1 Sliced Green Pepper
  • 8 Small Sliced Mushrooms
  • 2 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 8 Slices Provolone
  • 4 Tbs Melted Butter
  • Garlic Powder
  • Parsley
  • 6 Hoagie Buns

Sprinkle steak with salt & pepper. Place in slow cooker & pour beef broth over top. Add more broth if meat is not completely covered. Cook on high for 4 hours.

Melt 2 Tbs butter in large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, green pepper & mushrooms; cook until tender.

When meat is cooked, slice into thin strips, add Worcestershire sauce & place on baking pan with cooked veggies. Mix well & place cheese on top.

Heat oven to 350 & cook meat 5 mins, or until cheese is melted. Can broil 2 -3 mins for crispier cheese.

Toast hoagie buns & brush with melted butter & sprinkle lightly with garlic powder & parsley.

Top buns with meat & cheese.
