Crush oreos. Add to serving dish & pour melted butter over. Mix well. Reserve 1 cup of mix & set aside. Press mix into pan (9 x 9″).
Mix chocolate pudding & milk & set aside to thicken.
Add cream cheese, icing sugar & vanilla. Mix until blended.
Fold in 2/3 container of cool whip. Pour over oreo crust layer.
Pour chocolate pudding over cheesecake mix.
Top with remaining cool whip & reserved oreo crumb mix.
Refrigerate 2 hours before serving.
