Manicotti

the best we've ever had.

  • 4 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Medium Diced Onion
  • 4 Minced Cloves Garlic
  • 14 Manicotti
  • 1 Container Ricotta
  • 3 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Cup Parmesan
  • 2 tsp Parsley
  • 3 Cups Marinara
  • 2 Tbs Butter
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Heat skillet; add olive oil, onion & beef. Season with salt & pepper. Brown & let cool.

Brush 1 tsp oil over large baking sheet.

Cook manicotti until soft, but still firm (4 – 6 mins). Using slotted spoon, transfer to oiled sheet to cool.

Combine ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, 1/2 cup parmesan & parsley. Add garlic, salt & pepper. Stir in meat mix.

Preheat oven to 350.

Brush remaining 2 tsp oil over baking dish. Spoon 1 1/2 cup marinara on bottom.

Fill manicotti & spoon remaining sauce over.

Sprinkle with remaining 1 cup mozzarella & 1/2 cup parmesan.

Dot with butter pieces.

Bake uncovered for 30 – 35 mins.
