Lasagna

the best we've ever had.

  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Large Diced Onion
  • 4 Minced Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Diced Sweet Pepper
  • 1 Cup Chopped Mushrooms
  • 2 3/4 Cups Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 Container Ricotta
  • 4 Cups Grated Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3/4 Cup Parmesan
  • 2 tsp Parsley
  • 1/2 tsp Basil
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • 12 Cooked Lasagna Noodles

Cook meat and vegetables in large skillet over medium heat. Drain fat.

Add garlic & spaghetti sauce. Simmer 5 mins.

In large bowl, mix together ricotta, 2 cups mozzarella, eggs, 1/2 cup parmesan, parsley, salt & pepper.

Spray baking pan with cooking spray.

Spread 3/4 cup of sauce on bottom of baking pan.

Cover bottom with 3 lasagna noodles.

Top with 1/3 of cheese mixture & 1/2 cup sauce.

Repeat layers (noodles, cheese, sauce, noodles, cheese, sauce).

Top with 3 noodles, remaining sauce, remaining 2 cups mozzarella & parmesan. Sprinkle with basil.

Cover with aluminum foil & bake at 350 for 50 mins.

Uncover & bake an additional 10 mins.

Let stand 10 mins.
