Italian Stuffed Shells

the best we've ever had.

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 Cup Diced Onion
  • 4 Minced Cloves Garlic
  • 2 Cups Hot Water
  • 1 Can(s) Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbs Beef Bouillon
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp Oregano
  • 1 Lightly Beaten Egg
  • 2 Cups 4% Cottage Cheese
  • 2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 Cup Parmesan
  • 24 Cooked Shells

Cook beef, onion & garlic over medium heat; drain.

Stir in water, tomato paste, bouillon & oregano. Simmer, uncovered, for 30 mins.

Meanwhile, in large bowl, combine egg, cottage cheese, mozzarella & parmesan.

Stuff shells & arrange in baking dish. Pour meat sauce over shells.

Cover & bake at 350 for 30 mins.

Uncover & sprinkle with remaining mozzarella. Bake 5 mins or until cheese is melted.
