Blueberry Scones

the best we've ever had.

  • 2 Cups Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Cut into small pieces Butter
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 3/4 Cup Blueberries

Preheat oven to 425°.

Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, salt & butter.

Add egg & milk until blended.

Add fruit; Knead.

Move dough to floured surface & form into 8″ round circle. Cut into wedges & place on parchment paper 2″ apart.

Brush with milk & sprinkle with sugar.

Bake 15 mins.

Frost with icing once cool.

 

Icing: 0.5 cup powdered sugar & 1.5 Tbs. lemon juice.
