Beef Steak Potato Scallop

the best we've ever had.

  • 1 lb Beef
  • Flour
  • 3 Tbs Butter
  • 3 Small Thinly Sliced Onion
  • 3 Tbs Flour
  • 1 + 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Dash Thyme
  • Dash Garlic Powder
  • 2 Cups Water
  • 3 Medium Potatoes
  • Paprika

Preheat oven to 350.

Cut meat into cubes; coat with flour.

Melt butter in skillet & brown meat. Add onion & cook until tender.

Pour into ungreased casserole dish & sprinkle with 3 Tbs flour, salt, pepper, thyme & garlic powder. Pour water over mix.

Layer with potatoes & sprinkle with paprika.

Cover & bake 45 – 60 mins, or until meat is tender.
