Beef Barley Soup

the best we've ever had.

  • 1 lb Stew Beef
  • 1 Diced Onion
  • 2 Sliced Carrots
  • 2 Stalks Chopped Celery
  • 2 Diced Potatoes
  • 4 Minced Cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Cup Barley
  • 1 tsp Montreal Steak Spice
  • 1 Tbs Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 tsp Oregano
  • 1 tsp Basil
  • 1/4 tsp Thyme
  • 1 Tbs Parsley
  • 4 Cups Beef Broth
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Salt
  • 1 Can(s) Crushed Tomatoes
  • 2 Tbs Olive Oil

Brown meat in oil.

Place meat in slow cooker.

Add in all other ingredients (except barley).

Cook on high for 4 hours.

Add barley at 3rd hour.
